Hey kiddies,
my dearest apologies for abandoning you for so long-- i am still here! and i have news!!! STEPHIE IS IN LOVE!!! and who knew that her heart would take her to my hometown, vancouver :) so, this means that she will no longer be able to come to portugal with us, as she will be starting up a new life with mr man (who i hope to meet some time sooner rather than later!) and we will carry on without her. i'm sad to see you go steph, however i wish you the very best in my lovely city and please think of us for your honeymoon ;)
and now for a proper catch up with you all...
first of all, a big hello and welcome to chris, our latest arts extraordinaire! (we love you and can't wait to have you with us :) selina and i have been dreaming about all kinds of fun things we want to host at our humble place and with chris around, this will make it all the more possible.
in the mean time, here's what i've been up to... so i'm still in melbourne, winding up on my life here for the last 3 and a half years. and can i just say, i have had a fantastic time, i've met the most inspiring and loving people and i am so grateful to have enjoyed everything this city and country has to offer. i will miss this place! and i am ready to say goodbye and know that it will always have a special spot in my heart. SOOOO.... let's go out with a bang!
my wonderful friend, stavros, has just given me the go ahead to borrow his cafe for one night, so that i can create what we've been dreaming up for lisbon-- here in melbourne! it will be a night of dumpling making, dumpling eating, live music, good friends and good company. i can't wait! it's called the DIRTY DUMPLING JAM and everyone's invited - on the 17th of April 2011. I'm just in the midst of doing up the poster for it this weekend so as soon as i get that done i'll post it up with more details. until then, mark it in your calendars!
