Alice Says... who's dirty??

WOW!


guys, i think i would call that a success!!  We had about 100 people turn up over the course of the night at The Dirty Dumpling Jam who were ready to fold dumplings, ready to get their hands dirty in the kitchen, and ready to play and enjoy music with everyone-- i couldn't have dreamed for anything more than that, really!


i had some wonderful feedback from friends and people who i hadn't even met, and it really touched me how many people were wishing us well on this crazy adventure, and how many people offered their support in whatever way they could :)


a MASSIVE hug and special thanks to team dirty dumplings, who grew as the night went on!


in the kitchen- anthony (who also helped with ALL of the posters and a lot of the pre-sunday work!), irene (selina's beautiful mom), brian, akira, alison, sophie, mark, tom, joyce, dan, wah, duncan, vemmy, lyla


with the music- aaron, simon, aaron's cousin who's name i can't remember- please tell me your name again!- (rocking out on the xylophone and accordian!), emma, charlie, ralph, stefan, lyla, andre, lucas

and last but certainly not the least by any measure of the word- stavros, who was so kind enough to have said yes to my dream of putting dumplings and music together in one place, and handed over kerynia cafe to 8folds for the evening with nothing but the best intentions.  he was quietly working the front counter the entire night and was with us til the end cleaning up, and i can't thank him enough for his generousity and spirit.


if there is anyone whom i have missed-- and i have a feeling that i have--- please PLEASE write back to me so that i can add you on to here, because i so dearly want to acknowledge everyone who made the night possible!


AND, if anyone is so kind as to contribute photos, or videos, or anything of the sort so that i can post them up here on the blog/facebook and share them with everyone. i would love to see the night through your eyes, hear some feedback, and hopefully make the next one (which will be in portugal!) even more successful! (or at the very least, a little more organized :b ) and i will of course acknowledge everyone who can contribute, so that when people see how amazing your photos are on here, they will know who you are :)


so i didn't get to see everyone off over the course of the night, and i'm sorry for that :( but i sincerely hope that everyone had a great time, and thank you to everyone who came with just magical energy, and made the night what it was-- the perfect farewell to melbourne! bless all of your beautiful hearts!!
